Terms of Service.

  • You sign up, we host a workspace for your org.
  • You own your meeting data. We don't sell it. We don't advertise on it.
  • We may need to read it to fix a bug. We tell you when we do.
  • You pay for what you use. Free tier is free forever within its limits.
  • Cancel any time. Your data exports come with you.

1. Service.

1891 Parliamentarian ("the service") is provided by Made by 1891, a sole proprietorship in Frederick, Maryland. The service helps your organization run parliamentary meetings, record motions and votes, and produce minutes.

2. Your account.

You sign up by providing an organization name, your name and role, your email, and an optional subdomain. You agree to keep your email accurate so we can send magic-link sign-in messages.

3. Your data.

You own your meeting content. We store it on your behalf in a per-org Google Sheet you can export at any time. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train any third-party model.

4. Acceptable use.

Don't use the service to harass, defame, or deceive. Don't try to break the system. Don't run a meeting you don't have authority to run. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that do.

5. Payment.

Paid plans (Pro, Public Sector, Enterprise, per-event) are billed monthly or per event. Founding-member pricing locks at $19 a month for as long as the subscription remains continuous.

6. Cancellation.

Cancel any time from your workspace settings. Your data exports come with you for 30 days after cancellation; after that, we delete it.

7. Liability.

The service is provided as is. We are not liable for indirect damages. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

8. Changes.

We may update these terms. If we do, we will email account owners at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after that date counts as acceptance.
