What we collect.

  • Organization name and your name and role (from signup).
  • Your email (for sign-in and account notices).
  • Meeting content you create: motions, votes, minutes, attendees.
  • Basic operational logs: which page loaded, which API call was made, error traces. No personal browsing history.

What we don't.

  • No third-party trackers.
  • No advertising network on this site.
  • No selling or sharing of meeting content.
  • No training of any third-party model on your data.
  • No camera access. No microphone access without per-meeting consent. See "Audio capture and transcripts" below.

Where your data lives.

Meeting content lives in a per-org Google Sheet under our Google Workspace, accessible only by your authorized members and Anthony for support. Marketing site traffic stats live in Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-preserving and does not require a cookie banner.

How long we keep it.

Active accounts: as long as the account is open. After cancellation: 30 days, then deletion. Operational logs: 90 days.

Audio capture and transcripts.

If your meeting uses live captions, here is exactly what happens to the audio.

What we capture. Sound from the mic stations you paired before the meeting, and only during periods when attendees have consented. Each station is a separate iPad with a visible RECORDING indicator. No other microphone in the room is captured.

What we keep. The text transcript is kept for one year, then deleted. Raw audio is not stored at all on the Pro tier. On the Public Sector tier, raw audio is kept 90 days so your records officer can answer FOIA requests, then deleted.

What we never capture. Anything spoken before mics are paired, anything spoken after the chair ends the meeting, and anything spoken during an executive-session pause. The chair pauses the mics with one tap. Nothing said during the pause goes to the transcript.

Who can see it. Officers and attending members during the meeting. Nobody outside your organization. We do not share transcripts with anyone, and no third party trains a model on your recordings.

Withdrawing consent. Any member can withdraw consent at any time during the meeting. Their lines are flagged in the transcript and redacted from the public minutes.

Maryland law. Maryland is a two-party consent state. We announce the recording verbally and visually at the start of every session, capture written consent from each attendee at check-in, and show a RECORDING indicator on every shared screen the entire time the mics are live.

Your rights.

You can export your data any time from your workspace. You can request deletion by emailing contact@madeby1891.com. EU and UK residents have GDPR rights: access, correction, erasure, portability. California residents have CCPA rights: know, delete, opt out of sale (we do not sell).
