Heirloom Scanning — $1.50/page.
For customers who’d rather mail us the box than upload. One flat-rate USPS box at a time; turnaround within 10 business days of receipt.
- Books, loose papers, photo albums (we photograph, never destructively scan), newspaper clippings, typed transcripts, handwritten letters.
- Return shipping included, tracked and insured to $100 declared. Above that we bill insurance at cost.
- Tree gets one prepaid label/year. Heritage gets two. Sapling pays shipping.
- Don’t mail us original vital records or anything irreplaceable without calling first.
Pricing FAQ
Why a setup fee?
Because a human reads your documents before the site goes up. That human pass is where the accuracy lives, and it’s the line between us and a one-click AI site builder. The setup fee covers about ninety minutes of admin time and filters out customers we can’t help.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from your account billing page. Your site stays live through the end of your current paid period and then becomes read-only for 30 days, during which you can export everything or resume.
Do you keep my files if I cancel?
For 60 days after cancellation, then we delete them. You can export the full ZIP — site HTML, family data as CSV, the source PDFs you uploaded, and the full edit log — at any time, including after cancellation.
What if my documents are awful?
We tell you within one business day, refund the setup fee, and explain what would help. We won’t take your money to ship a site we can’t stand behind.
Do you charge overage fees?
Never automatically. If you hit a plan limit we email you and surface a banner; nothing is charged until you choose to upgrade. Surprise overage charges are a trust-killer.
