Conformance target.

1891 Interpreter targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA across the public marketing site and the product. Section 508 conformance follows from WCAG conformance per the 2018 ICT Refresh.

How we maintain conformance.

Every release runs automated checks (axe-core), manual screen-reader testing (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS, TalkBack), and keyboard-only smoke tests. Releases block on regressions. The conformance log at /accessibility is updated per release.

How to report a barrier.

Email accessibility@madeby1891.com. Reports go to a priority queue: response within 2 business days, target fix date within 5.

Formats and assistive tech.

The product works with current versions of major screen readers and browsers. We test against Safari + VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, Chrome + NVDA on Windows, Firefox + JAWS, and Chrome + TalkBack on Android. Older browsers may have degraded experience; we maintain a documented support matrix in the product help.
