FAQ — the things every facility owner asks first.
Do I have to migrate off my current booking system?
No. Arena is the play layer, not the booking layer. Your existing tool keeps handling court reservations and member dues. We accept its bookings as our schedule source and write match results back to its booking detail page.
CourtReserve is live today — we pull your bookings from the iCal feed in your CourtReserve profile (works on any plan tier; full bidirectional REST integration when your facility is on Scale or Enterprise). PodPlay and ClubAutomation follow the same shape and arrive when the first facility on those systems signs up. Any system with a spreadsheet or CSV feed works today as the universal fallback. What does "DUPR write-back" actually mean?
When a match finishes on Arena, we POST the result to DUPR via their API. The score lands on each player's DUPR profile within the hour. If your facility is enrolled as a DUPR club partner, those results count as tournament-verified. If not, they still count toward each player's rating — just not flagged verified. The technical contract is in our RATING_INTEGRATION spec.
How do payments work?
You connect your bank account through secure payout setup — takes ~5 minutes. Players pay you directly; the money lands in your account. We deduct a 10% organizer fee at payout. No setup fee, no monthly minimum, no per-transaction add-on. Refunds and disputes follow the industry-standard windows. See our terms for the full payments contract.
What does Founding 25 cost after the first season?
The same as the regular League tier — $149/season for the Bracket tier, $299/season for Live, $599/season for Archive. The Founding 25 discount is 50% off your first season only. There's no automatic renewal pricing trick; you'll see the full price on every invoice after the first.
Can I run more than one league at the same time?
Yes. The platform handles concurrent leagues, tournaments, and ladders running side-by-side. Each is its own setup; players can register for multiple. Director console shows them all on one screen if you want, or filter to one at a time.
What if I'm running a tournament, not a league?
Same platform, different mode. Pick Tournament at setup time instead of League. The Director console, scorekeeper UI, DUPR write-back, and payouts are identical — the only difference is the state machine. See the pickleball overview → for the format demo.
Who owns the data?
You. Every tenant has an export everything button in their billing settings — produces a ZIP with your site HTML, your Sheet data, the DUPR submission log, and any uploaded archive source documents. Auto-generated, no friction. This is non-negotiable; trust depends on it.
